Origin Story

One hot summer day in the Chiricahua mountains, Earyn was attempting to recapture, a Yarrow’s spiny lizard. The lizard took off running as soon as it saw Earyn. At one point during the chase Earyn lost sight of the lizard. She thought it had gotten away. Earyn decided to survey the area one last time. She looked behind her and there it was, watching Earyn while on a tree. The only reason she saw the lizard was because of a large orange paint mark, the number 5, Earyn had given the lizard the first time she caught it. It was such an amazing encounter that Earyn wanted to share it on twitter. To her surprise, people could’t find the lizard in the photo. Despite the conspicuous marking Earyn had given it. These people enjoyed the search and suggested Earyn regularly post photos with lizards hidden in them. Earyn realized that this was a great opportunity to teach people interesting lizard facts and to have a greater appreciation for lizards.
