It’s Time!!

I am incredibly excited to announce that the 2nd annual #FindThatLizard Scholarship will be open on October 31st at 7 pm! You can find the application here.

I created this scholarship as a way to give back to the herpetological community that has given so much to me, especially my fellow HERpers. This scholarship is designed to support girls, women, and gender non-conforming persons pursuing herpetology as a hobby or career. We especially encourage Black and other herpers of color to apply.

Examples of what we fund:

1. Conferences: registration, travel, lodging, poster printing

2. Tuition: college, nature summer camps, online courses

3. Research: travel, housing, gear and supplies, data analyzation

We will not fund:

1. Anything related to pets or pet supplies

Applications close on December 10th, 2025.
