Thank you so much for awarding me this scholarship. I am truly grateful for your support and belief in me. This scholarship will greatly ease my financial burden and help me focus more on my studies! Before I continue with the budget and bio, I did want to inquire about a new opportunity exposed to me. My university has two study abroad opportunities that include the research of ecology and conservation of species in these places. Locations will be in China and Costa Rica. I was curious as to whether I can apply this scholarship towards this opportunity? Below is an overview of one of the faculty members leading the trip to give a better idea of the trip.
Dr. Feifei Zhang is Research Associate at Economic Policy Institute, and adjunct faculty at the W. A. Franke College of Business. Before starting her PhD, she worked as a Senior Researcher in the Chinese Academy for Environmental Planning (CAEP), in the Chinese Ministry of Ecology and Environment. Her work experience includes research on China’s National and Regional Medium-to-Long term Environmental Protection Strategic Planning, and Environmental Master Planning for cities and their hinterlands, from a sustainable point of view. Feifei also has extensive experience working on projects in community development, nature-based tourism, and rural development policy.
Again, thank you so much for this opportunity, I am incredibly grateful to be chosen.
