Clark’s Spiny Lizard

In addition to sight, an important way to find lizards is by sound. Once you’ve trained you’re ears enough, you can tell the difference between the wind blowing in the vegetation, birds and small mammals rustling, and even the sounds your own movements make. At this point, you can identify what sounds a lizard may make trying to scurry away from you.

Clark’s Spiny Lizard, Sceloporus clarkii makes a sound called screeching. This happens when the lizard scurries from one side of a tree to the other to avoid detection. Its the sound of its claws scraping the bark.

In this challenge the Clarks is on a Saguaro. Can you #FindThatLizard? Let me Know with #FoundThatLizard.
